Imagine Nation

Located in Bristol, Imagine Nation is a not only a unique hands-on museum but also an early learning centre for kids. The 3 floors are divided into 12 museum studios, which explores topics such as Design and Engineering, Light Reflection and Technology, Science and Energy Theater Art, Farm to Table.

In addition to these, kids will have the opportunity to learn about wildlife, multicultural experiences, water, and wellness.

The Museum Studios are opened from Wednesday to Saturday. You can visit between 9:30 am and 5 pm during these days. Admission is free for children under the age of 1. Any other age, including parents, have to pay $10.

Discovery Museum and Planetarium

This Bridgeport Museum features exhibits designed to stimulate interaction and hands-on learning. The three floors contain exhibits with topics ranging from aerospace and energy to physics and technology, including the stars. Discovery Museum and Planetarium has something engaging for every kid.

The Museum is opened from Tuesday till Sunday. You can visit between 10 am and 5 pm on these days. Admission is free for children under the age of 2. Children between the age of 2 and 17 have to pay $8, while the admission fee for adults is $10.

Connecticut Science Center

Located in Hartford, the Connecticut Science Centre is every science nerd’s dream. Aside from the over 165 hands-on exhibits for kids to interact with, the museum also features exhibits that are supposed to cater to the needs of children that are under the age of 7.

Some of these exhibits include Colored balls, Legos, and various soft-surface items. You can visit the centre on Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am until 5 pm. Admission is free for kids under the age of 3. However, children between 3 and 17, including adults, have to pay a fee of $14.95 and $21.95 respectively.

KidCity Museum

This Museum features handmade exhibits that are meant to cater to the needs of children between ages 1 and 7. The exhibits, which are centred around different themes, include a miniature medieval village, a space-age road trip, and an interactive simulated fish pond.

You can visit the centre on Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am until 5 pm. Admission is free for kids under the age of 3. However, children between 3 and 17, including adults have to pay a fee of $14.95 and $21.95 respectively.

The centre is opened from Sunday until Tuesday from 11 am to 5 pm, then from Wednesday until Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. Admission fee is $9 for adults. However, it’s free for children under the age of 1.
